BOOKING PROCESS  

As we continue to adjust to the ongoing challenges of running a business in the current climate, it has become clear that we need to safeguard the time we allocate for our clients when accepting an appointment booking.

 

Last-minute cancellations and no-shows cost our business thousands of dollars per week which would ultimately need to be passed on to you, our clients, in the form of service price increases.

 

To avoid preventable price increases, we will be requiring a non-refundable booking fee when accepting any appointment booking from July 1, 2022.

 

Here’s how it will work:

 

  • When you book an appointment (either online, via phone or in salon), you will be required to pay a $50 booking fee to allow us to hold that spot for you and turn away other paying clients.
  • This booking fee will be deducted from your total service fee on the day of your appointment.
  • If you are unable to attend your appointment, your booking fee will be transferred to your rescheduled appointment providing you reschedule within 14 days of your original appointment date.
  • If you are unable to reschedule your appointment, or fail to attend, your booking fee will be used toward subsidising the loss to the business and will not be available for refund or transfer.

 

It costs us significantly more than the amount of your booking fee if you do not honour your appointment, as we have turned away that income from another client wanting to book. We are hopeful that this process will be enough of a deterrent to minimise this occurrence.

 

Your booking fee may be paid via credit card either online, over the phone, or via bank transfer. Your appointment will be confirmed once the fee is received and cleared.
